As the food regulator of this country, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has been playing a stellar role to ensure food safety through education, awareness, legal compliance and other mandates. While FSSAI is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that citizens eat right and eat healthy at national level and following up its mandate with legal compliances, its painstaking efforts are also being complemented at regional levels.
The West Region helmed by Ms Pritee Chaudhary has been organizing a series of events to carry the food safety torch further, so that the results of the campaign reach to even grassroot levels. This multi-layered approach of the FSSAI at national and regional levels has been paying rich dividends.
